What do I do if I don’t agree with the classification?

If you disagree with the Star classification that has been awarded to you, you have the right to appeal within 45 days by lodging an official dispute. This needs to be in the form of a letter addressed to the Commissioner at the Ministry of Tourism, who will then review your assessment in full, together with the Objection Committee.

 

A Hotel may change its rating during the term, due to renovations that improves its level, by submitting an application to the Commissioner and a re-inspection. A Hotel may discontinue its rating by obtaining approval of the Commissioner.The Commissioner may issue a warning, cancel or suspend a rating if it appears that the Hotel and according to the examiner s findings no longer complies with the rating that was designated.
